Wine brings to light the hidden secrets of the soul
In the midst of a global pandemic, two fine wine lovers decided to embark on an exhilarating and fruitful (pun intended) adventure. Unlike most stories, ours started rather bizarrely on a Zoom meeting gone wrong, probably the worst of its kind. Fortunately, that was the first but certainly not the last of our encounters. We met in person shortly thereafter. Our mutual love for fine wine, art, travel and all things beautiful were just some of the ingredients that would make for a very interesting partnership. It was not long before Mzansi Craft Wine (MCW) was born.

One of the best parts of starting MCW was tasting some of the finest wines produced in the Western Cape, meeting award winning winemakers,brewers and distillers and getting invaluable insight into our business. MCW creates a platform for upcoming craft winemakers and beverage makers to launch their own brands under the guidance of our mentors, who are all highly decorated beverage makers themselves. Our aim is to increase diversity and innovation to the wine making industry in South Africa and abroad.
